UK-listed Soco International said it will farm out a 20% interest in Congo (Kinshasa)’s onshore Nganzi Block to Japan’s Inpex Corp., which will fund 40% of the drilling costs of three planned wells. Soco will remain operator and will hold a 65% interest in the block, with national oil company Congolaise des Hydrocarbures owning the remaining 15%.
