PDO Awards $800M Contract

Petroleum Development Oman (PDO) has awarded an $800 million engineering and maintenance services contract (EMC) to a joint venture between Wood Group and Consolidated Contractors Co. (CCC) for oil and gas work in South Oman. “The scope in general terms includes on- plot area assets for the entire South Oman concession including terminal facilities, in- frastructure assets and government gas as- sets, engineering, procurement, construc- tion, commissioning of greenfield and brownfield EMC projects and maintenance support,” Wood Group said in a statement.
