Norwegian oil production did better than expected in both September and October, according to data released on Tuesday by the Norwegian Petroleum Directorate (NPD). September output of crude, natural gas liquids and condensates was revised up- wards by a combined 47,000 b/d to 1.825 million b/d, compared to NPD's preliminary estimate of 1.777 million b/d (IOD, Oct.12,p8).
