Sibir Faces New Staff Changes

Gazprom Neft and Moscow city government took steps toward sharing control over the troubled UK-listed Sibir Energy by appointing their own representatives to the company's board. Sibir said Thursday that Stuard Detmer stepped down as the company's chief executive just two months after he was reinstated following discussions among shareholders. Detmer will be replaced by Igor Tsibelman (IOD Jun.23,p4).
