Pemex February Output Drops

Mexico's production of both crude oil and natural gas fell slightly last month, as did crude exports. State oil firm Pemex says crude output fell by 5,000 b/d in February, to 2.61 million b/d, after rising by 22,000 b/d in January. Although Pemex's oil production is far below its 2004 peak of almost 3.4 million b/d, in recent months output has fluctuated around 2.6 million b/d.
