China Mulls Oil Fund

China is looking at the possibility of setting up an oil stabilization fund to help deal with fluctuating prices. An official with the powerful National Development and Reform Commission said the idea, proposed by academics, is still under study. The fund would allow China to buy more oil when prices are low and sell when prices are high, the official said on the sidelines of an industry event in Beijing last week.
