Arrow LNG Project in Australia at Risk of Missing FID Target

Arrow Energy's plans to become the world's first company to export LNG based on coalbed methane (CBM) could be at risk after a major restructuring that will see it take full ownership of the Fisherman's Landing project on Australia's northeastern coast. Not only might the acquisition delay the project, it will also put further pressure on the junior's balance sheet, given the new cost estimate of up to A$2.2 billion (US$1.9 billion), more than earlier indicated.
