Arriving in comfort with the Pezidbahn 8-seater gondola

For the 2004/05 winter season, Doppelmayr built the Pezidbahn 8-seater gondola for Komperdell Seilbahnen, Serfaus, as a modern access system for the Masner skiing area. The new 8-seater gondola supplied by JL Doppelmayr provides a fast and comfortable service to the Masner, with its reliable snow cover. Previously the area could only be reached via Arrezjoch using a long and fairly obsolete angled surface lift. For children and snowboarders especially, the Arrez lift was not a very enjoyable experi-ence and the ride could be very strenuous. Now the old surface lift is closed, and the Masner area has the modern access system that had been identified in visitor polls as the most urgently needed investment for the resort.
