As part of Ammeraal Beltech's ongoing commitment to innovation, the company have developed the new RAPPLON~R folder gluer belts. New 'Food Grade' covers, combined with energy saving design provide improved performance and longer service life in increasingly sensitive applications, the company claims. "Dry foods, such as pasta, are packed directly into boxes," explains Thomas Heer of Ammeraal Beltech. "During the folding and gluing process, the belts are in contact with the pack and can be a possible source for contamination. RAPPLON~R belts with 'Food Grade' covers meet both FDA and EC standards for contact with dry foodstuffs, giving extra peace of mind to food packaging manufacturers."
