FEFCO'S 15th TECHNICAL SEMINAR

The City of Berlin (Germany) was the venue for FEFCO's 15th Technical Seminar, switched from its more familiar location of Nice in the South of France in response to members' feedback. The 15,000 sqm Estrel Convention Centre, with its bars and restaurants, entertainment complex and over 1,100 hotel rooms all under one roof, proved to be an ideal location for what is now the only event in Europe combining a conference and trade exhibition, bringing together buyers and suppliers of corrugated packaging machinery, equipment and services. Well over 350 delegates came away from the three-day conference with a host of ideas put forward by guest speakers, but having also had the benefit of seeing the latest developments on offer from the 58 exhibitors whose booths were located adjacent to the conference hall.
