The Journal of Nursing Intervention (JNI) was established in 2012. In the past year, we have received an increasing number of high-quality manuscripts and many are research reports. One of the JNI's missions is to facilitate the worldwide movement of evidence-based practice (EBP) by disseminating high-quality research findings. To meet the demand for quality health care and increasing provider accountability, EBP becomes an essential competency for nurses today.
