Retrofit combination unit replaces PET crystalliser/dryer installations

摘要

ASINGLE piece of equipment replacing the crystalliser and dryer on a PET line,and potentially yielding food grade PET from reclaim,has been developed by Erema.Two-stage reclamation of PET,where the flake or preform scrap is mixed with virgin granules in a crystalliser and then separately pre-dried before feeding to the extruder,can lead to problems with clogging or sticking.
