摘要

In this paper, modeling of a cantilever beam with different materials is done by ANSYS, and then the Frequencies related to each mode shape obtained by Analytical method can be compared with those which have been got by ANSYS software as well. Therefore, such comparisons among particular materials may give a clear view for either further analysis or control of the vibration in a cantilever beam made with such materials. Analysis has been done for the different three materials in a manner which is called as Modal Analysis. Due to the analysis, displacement in the free end, critical points, nodal solution, and shape functions are going to be shown. The materials which are used in the current paper are chosen with respect to availability, manufacturability, and the need and advantage of using such material in particular applications which are out of the current scope to be explained. The beams which are going to be modeled analytically and compared along with ANSYS analysis in this paper are made of: Aluminum, Mild Steel, and a sort of Isotropic Polymer such as EPOXY (3501-6).
