摘要

A new cobalt phosphate Cs2Co3(HPO4)(P04)2. 1120 1, has been synthesized by hydrothermal reactions and characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction, thermogravimetric analysis, and magnetic techniques. It crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P21 with a = 10.4711 (6) A, b = 5.1 129 (3) A, c = 13.5584 (8) A,= 109.893 (1)0, V= 682.57 A3, Z= 2. Refinement gave= 0.0226, wR2 = 0.0583 for 2611 unique observed reflections (I> 2o(I)). The cobalt and phosphorus atoms in 1 are tetrahed-rally coordinated by oxygen atoms with Co to P ratio of 1. The framework structure of 1 is built up by sharing corners of [Co(P04)]2 layers and [Co(HPO4)] double zigzag chains, which contains infinite 1-D tunnels, with 16-membered ring channels housing caesium cations and water molecules. Magnetic suscep-tibility measurements showed that 1 has a canted antiferromag-netic interaction at a transition temperature of about 10 K.
