Modified flexo press runs wet-on-wet for higher resolution

THE first Fischer & Krecke CI flexo press designed for the WetFlex process has been delivered to UV-Flex in Germany.WetFlex is a process in which radiation cured inks developed by Sun Chemical are applied wet-on-wet to the substrate.The press installed at UV-Flex is a 10 colour Flexpress 16S with a print width of 1,350 mm and repeat lengths of 320-1,050 mm.It is designed for printing and in-line lamination of aluminium foil,film and co-extrusions.The line also includes an in-line laminating process,where radiation cured adhesives are applied at the press.
