The flexo printing plate has a flexo printing element with photopolymer coating (1) on plastic foil (2), fixed to a metal carrier (4) which can itself be fixed on a printing carrier. The layers are attached to each other by double-sided sticky tape (3). The metal carrier may be made of aluminum and the edges of the flexo printing element may be sealed by an elastic sealant.
