Two bills currently before the US Congress could improve the health of workers worldwide by changing the terms under which trade agreements and other trade policy are made in the US. Members of Congress who care about public health and a just trading system should act on both immediately. In addition, public health professionals have a unique opportunity to leverage support for these bills to create sustainable and healthy working and living conditions for populations around the world.
