摘要

The Declaration of Alma-Ata, adopted at the International Conference on Primary Health Care in 1978, articulated a competing vision of medicine that emphasized the importance of social conditions, human rights, and equality in achieving health for all people of the world. Subsequently, a number of critiques have urged closer attention to the social conditions that foster ill health.
