Food, clothing and shelter are the basic needs of human being, which can be scientifically met if technical know how pertaining to home science are transferred to ultimate user by the field functionaries through KVKs. With the publication of first package of practices of home science in 2005, home scientists have uniform message to transfer to rural women. This package of practices included 13 nutritional messages. Out of which low cost nutritional message has been identified as crucial messages by 50 home scientists working at different district headquarters and CCSHAU, Hisar. The study was conducted on 300 rural women by selecting multistage sampling techniques. The study was conducted by taking 10 independent variables and one dependent variable.Dependent variable was technological dissemination system which was assessed in terms of field applicability, which was measured in terms of five attributes of innovation. The study revealed that more than eighty per cent of respondents (83.33%) fell inthe medium category followed by equal percentage of respondents in low and high category, respectively on the basis of attributes of innovation. Further analysis of data revealed that respondents assigned first rank to simplicity-complexity and title onthe basis of innovation.
