An IMNS sim transmits data to the Gateway GPRS Support Node (GGSN) from individual Serving GPRS Support Nodes (SGSN) based on signal strength and coverage, switching between individual SSGN's based on detected signal strength. An IMNS sim does not roam between networks, as it's home network is the network set by the Virtual Sim Controller which directs the Packet Control Unit which differentiates whether data is to be routed to the packet switched or circuit switched networks, is controlled by a virtual data network which is able to set predetermined network priority and data transmission parameters to enable the most cost efficient data transmission.
