Complementary developments in the Hamiltonian theory of the non-rigid Earth

In this paper the transformations of the spherical harmonics by rotation of the reference frame are obtained in three different ways. Following these three methods we get the same expansions for the disturbing function as in Kinoshita (1977) and as in Getino and Ferrandiz (1995a). Performing the third way we work out the explicit expressions of the Jacobi modified polynomials (Q-bar)_2~((m,m'))(z), which are in agreement with the Kinoshita's ones (1977).
