Editorial: Special Issue on Instrumentation, Control and Automation

摘要

The special issue in the International Journal of Applied Mathematics and Statistics (IJAMAS) represents extended version of selected papers from the 2nd International Conference on Instrumentation Control and Automation (ICA) 2011 held in November 15-17, 2011 in Bandung, Indonesia. The international conference was organized by the Instrumentation and Control Research Group, Faculty of Industrial Technology, Bandung Institute of Technology. The second conference is the continuation of the 1st International Conference on ICA 2009 that was successfully held with broad range of research disciplines presented by participants with various background and countries. The second ICA conference attracted more papers and participants, and created a new network in the primary disciplines of instrumentation, control and automation. The international conference is aimed to address the most recent topics in instrumentation, control and automation, both in research stages and industrial developments. It is the goal of the conference to become the scientific forum for academics, researchers, and practitioners, and a place to share ideas, experiences, vision and information in instrumentation, control and automation. The combination of these three fields will create new and integrated technologies that can make better products from environmentally fiendly processing plants or systems for better human life. The international conferences reflects the high commitment of the research group to give contributions in these areas internationally.
