Supply and manufacture of high quality duck feed

Cherry Valley has over 40 years experience of integrated duck production. In this time, Cherry Valley have been actively involved directly, or indirectly, in a large proportion of the research and development work which has been carried out on ducksin the world. Ducks are grown around the world in hot, temperate or cold conditions, and in a wide range of agricultural systems, to produce a variety of duck products. It is, therefore, important that the ducks are fed an appropriate diet correctly balanced for energy, protein, essential amino acids, minerals, vitamins and trace minerals if the birds genetic potential is to be achieved and its welfare not compromised. In terms of achieving optimum performance duck feed must be correctly formulated andmanufactured - quality assurance. The finished feed should then be tested - quality control - to ensure that it meets the specification. The formulation and manufacture of rations for ducks follows the same general rules as apply to the preparation of wholesome feeds for any class of stock.
