Automatic lifting and lowering cycle flow level indicator switch - a novelty

This innovative device keeps a constant and uninterrupted watch on the material flow level throughout the entire period of the system in operation. Whenever variations in levels go beyond desired limits, signals are automatically generated through the direct contact of the materials flow level at regular and suitable time cycles until on line corrective measures, automatically or manually, restore the normal flow level. The Sensor Unit - a rotating paddle - performs automatic lifting and lowering cycles (based on its stalled condition or free rotation) above the flowing materials. The automatic lifting and lowering of the paddle enables level sensing without submergence of the paddle, which is essential for reliable performance of the device. To suit each specific application a certain band-width variation in flow levels are submitted as acceptable. Such adjustments can readily be made alongwith adjustments in the amplitude and speed of the automatic lifting and lowering process.
