Comparative Analysis of Supplier Selection Methods in Fuzzy Environment

摘要

Limitation of extent fuzzy analytic hierarchy process (EFAHP) proposed by wang et al. (2008) raises question about its application for supplier selection. We argue that EFAHP could be used for single sourcing as well as multiple supplier selection problem with no or negligible loss of accuracy if no zero is assigned to any criteria during pair wise comparison. In this paper we compared two methods - extent fuzzy AHP and wang's modified extent fuzzy AHP with sensitivity analysis and parametric linear program. Both methods are further combined with linear program and genetic algorithm separately to compare result for multiple supplier selection problem.
