摘要

Lubrication is the most imperative maintenance activity in any manufacturing industry or equipment. Appropriate lubrication of the equipment is very important in achieving better quality output product and enhanced equipment performance. At present scenario the human resource constraints, physical location of the lubrication point, type of machine and lubrication point quantity often makes this lubrication not possible. The major utility of this intelligent lubrication system is to achieve the efficient lubrication to reduce wear and tear of precision components and minimize the lubricant consumption. The appropriate lubricant with the precise lubrication arrangement guarantees constancy and supply of lubricants which will get better machinery output. The present work deals with an intelligent multiline lubrication system with temperature monitoring system. The rise in temperature signal is recognized by a Microcontroller, which communicate to the pneumatic system to impel the suitable lubricant of desired quantity to the various bearing points. Also further increase in temperature is the failure of bearing and allied components which indicated by an alarm. Thus intellectual lubrication arrangement eradicates labour-intensive lubrication, providing a safer, more recurrent and supervised approach to the machines.
