This article describes a mathematical model for calculating the required number and capacity of filling stations in compressed natural gas refill stations (CNGRS) using queuing theory. The article presents the solutions under assumption that the nature of the flow of requests is Poisson stream and the service time distribution is exponential. A scheme of transitions between states of the system is presented. State graphs for systems with two and n parallel service channels are constructed. The resulting research approach can also be used in the calculation of the required number of compressors, batteries, drying systems and the preparation of natural gas. The calculation process and the mathematical model remain intact, source data only is subject to correction.
