Cadillac CTS coupe - This Caddy's a keeper

AUTO SHOWS ARE becoming a waste of time, in the sense that almost everything on display has been on the Web before the press days, and interesting cars are announced far too many years before they are available (Ford Thunderbird, Chevrolet Camaro, Dodge Challenger, etc.). So it was nice that Cadillac slipped this new coupe study into the Detroit show at the last minute. To call it a concept is PR sleight of hand; this car will be on sale next year, give or take a few minor details. Like the BMWs at which they are aimed, the CTS coupe and sedan share an aura but not many body panels. And, as with BMWs, however good the sedan may be, the coupe is better - sexier, sportier, more expensive... and worth it.
