Volkswagen of Germany is to wrap up its takeover of the luxury sports car group Porsche two years earlier than planned, to take advantage of 320 million euro worth of untapped economies of scale. The two companies have been seeking to merge since 2009 and have found a way to integrate their businesses two years earlier than thought economically feasible by previous estimates.
