The therapeutic efficacy of ZTH-02 was studied in experimental Bovine Tropical Theileriosis (BTT) in crossbred calves. BIT was induced by injecting ground-up tick supernates (GUTS) prepared from Hyalomma anatolicum anatolicum infected with Theilena annulata. Group A consisting of 6 calves, was treated with ZTH-02 along with supportive therapy and group B, also having 6 calves, was kept as infected control and provided only the supportive therapy. The efficacy of ZTH-02 was assessed based on the improvement in clinical and haemato-biochemical manifestations, reduction in parasitaemia and survival or death. ZTH-02 brought about the efficacy in terms of survival rate which was 33.33%.
