FACTORS AFFECTING BODY WEIGHTS IN LOCAL GOATS OF MALWA REGION

摘要

Goat is perhaps the only farm stock which can thrive well even in adverse conditions. It is the only species of livestock which has maintained a continuous rising trend. The goats of Malwa region are medium in size and mainly reared by the poor classof people. The information on local goats of this region is not available and hence the present study was conducted to study the effect of year of birth, season of birth and sex of kids.
