摘要

Heat affected zone(H.A.Z.) is the sensitized area around the spot weld.'This is due to precipitation of Chromium carbide, which results in intergranular corrosion. Control of heat input and enhanced heat dissipation during welding can be controlled by an orthodontist. Cooling the weld during welding by applying water on weldments and electrodes effectively reduces the H.A.Z. Purpose of the present study is to evaluate the reduction of heat affected zone(Zone of sensitization).
