PURPOSE: A coating method for stainless steel using High-Velocity Oxy-Fuel spraying(HVOF) is provided to improve the tensile bond strength of stainless steel by coating cermet like WC-Co on the surface of the stainless steel using HVOF.;CONSTITUTION: A coating method for stainless steel using High-Velocity Oxy-Fuel spraying(HVOF) is as follows. Cermet is coated on the surface of stainless steel using HVOF. At the coating step, WC-Co cermet is coated on the surface of 420J2 steel using HVOF. The coating has hydrogen flow velocity of 61 FMR(5.76×10^-3m^3/s), oxygen flow velocity of 38FMR, powder supply velocity of 35g/min(5.8×10^-5kg/s), and spray length of 6inch. The coating further comprises a coupled film selected from metal or alloy between stainless steel and cermet.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012
