These are corny jokes,sure,but no matter what Tier they're on,the way auto molders feel these days about their relationships with the top two of the U.S.Big Three is no laughing matter.According to the recently released annual study of automaker and Tier One supplier working relations from Planning Perspectives Inc.(Birmingham,MI),GM's relations with its suppliers are as bad as they've ever been,and Ford's aren't any better than they have been in the past several years.Chrysler is continuing to improve somewhat in the way it deals with its suppliers.Meanwhile,the quality of the relations between suppliers and the Japanese Big Three-Toyota,Honda,and Nissan-are at record highs.
