Dow partners with Solvay and BASF

The Dow Chemical Co.(Midland,MI;www.dovv .com)has taken steps toward forming two partnerships to build two new plants in Thailand.In the first,Dow and Solvay SA(Brussels,Belgium;www.solvay.com)have agreed to create a joint venture for the construction of a hydrogen peroxide(HP)plant;scheduled to be operational in 2010.
