IP, SPS, Market Access Among Groups Meeting During TPP Intersessional

SINGAPORE - Negotiating groups on intellectual property (IP), sanitary and phytosanitary (SPS) issues and market access text are among those that held talks here this week during an intersessional meeting of Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) negotiators hosted by the United States ahead of a Feb. 22-25 ministerial, according to informed sources. In addition, negotiators for environment, investment, state-owned enterprises, rules of origin, non-conforming measures on services and investment, e-commerce, financial services, government procurement, and legal and institutional issues are attending the meeting here, sources said. Some negotiators, including those for market access, held bilateral meetings, according to these sources.
