Whilst we don't set out to generate controversy in the pages of Industrial Technology, we certainly welcome debate. So it's been interesting to see how much of a stir our various articles on electrically powered vehicles caused in our previous issue, especially combined with a look at the subject on a recent BBC Top Gear programme, which extended its focus to encompass hydrogen powered vehicles. Both of these are highlighted as representing the future of personal transport, but how viable are they really?
