DoC terminates EMD investigations

EFFECTIVE 2 March 2004, the US Department of Commerce (DoC) terminated its investigations of dumping of electrolytic manganese dioxide in the USA by Australia, China, Greece, Ireland, Japan, and South Africa. The move by the DoC was prompted by the 20 February withdrawal of Kerr-McGee Chemical LLC from its anti-dumping duty petition filed on 31 July 2003 with the US International Trade Commission (USITC) and the DoC against the import of EMD from the six countries.
