US Rare Earth Salts to separate rare earths for a mining major

US-based junior company Rare Earth Salts (RES) has signed a joint development agreement with one of the ten largest mining companies in the world to process rare earths from the company's deposits. Through this agreement, RES said it aims to demonstrate the scalability and, ultimately, the feasibility of its new process to extract and separate rare earths on a commercial scale, with lower costs and a reduced environmental impact than those of the present techniques.
