ONE OF POLAND'S leading refractory manufacturers has joined the ranks of western refractory producers establishing themselves in China near to raw materials and a vibrant domestic market. Polish basic refractories producer Zaklady Magneztowe "Ropczyce" SA recently opened a new joint venture, XR Ropczyce Co. Ltd, based in Haicheng, Liaoning province, north-east China with magnesite producer Liaoning Xinrong Minerals Group Co. Ltd.
