Nitrates fall on weak fertiliser demand

IT IS STILL uncertain times for fertiliser minerals. While potash started to make a comeback on the contract deals with India in July, activity has since been limited. Nitrates, along with potash one of the key fertiliser minerals, is also experiencing a demand slump which has resulted in a price fall of 20-40 dollars/ tonne.
