Cristal calls for TiO_2 change

CRISTAL GLOBAL, THE world's second largest titanium dioxide (TiO_2) producer, has called for change in the industry following the worsening impact of the global crisis on its markets, speaking at last month's TiO_2 2009 conference in Rome, Italy. The group's commercial vice president, John Hall, said: "A transformation must occur throughout the value chain. In the last 30 years the TiO_2 industry has changed, and it must change very significantly over the next three years."
