摘要

The composition of Citrus sinensis and Citrus Union essential oil samples have been investigated by GC and GC-MS. The essential oils were extracted by hydrodistillation method. The peels oil of Citrus sinensis afforded the identification of twenty monoterpenoid components comprising 99 % of the oil, including eight monoterpene hydrocarbons (91.86 %) and twelve oxygenated monoterpenes (7.3 %) in which limonene (87.78%) and linalool (4.04%) are the major constituents while Citrus limon afforded the identification of twenty six components comprising 94.5% of the oil, including eleven monoterpene hydrocarbons (56.38 %), nine oxygenated monoterpene (32.19 %) and six sesquiterpene hydrocarbons (5.93%). The major constituents of Citrus limon are limonene (35.25%) followed by α-terpineol (14.89%), γ-terpinene (8.11%) and β-myrcene (7.2%) .The Citrus sinensis oil mainly contains monoterpenoids while that Citrus limon contains both mono and sesquiterpenoids.
