A new era of Audi design and technology will start with the next-generation A8 in late 2016, company officials have revealed to Autocar. A rebooted Audi - headed on the technical side by Ulrich Hackenberg, who moved from Volkswagen in 2013, and led in design by Marc Lichte, who shifted from Volkswagen in February - is also working on projects that include a reborn Quattro, a "completely different" kind of electric vehicle, a sports SUV badged Q8 and an SUV version of the TT. The long-awaited new look was previewed by the Prologue concept car at the Los Angeles motor show, where Hackenberg and Lichte started outlining their plans for the brand.
