GS F super-saloon promises close to 500bhp from uprated 5.0-litre V8 and a price of about ￡80k The Lexus GS F will become a production reality in 2016, according to a company source. The BMW M5-rivalling saloon, caught testing at the Nurburgring recently, will be powered by an uprated version of the normally aspirated 5.0-litre V8 that appears in the new RC F coupe. Power will be close to 500bhp, with torque rated at just under 400lb ft. Expect a 0-60mph time of around 4.5sec, with a top speed of over 170mph. An eight-speed ZF automatic gearbox and a Torsen differential will both be fitted as standard.
