Although some might blanch at the suggestion, it is at least arguable that the Lamborghini Miura was the world's first supercar. Certainly, when it was unveiled at the Geneva motor show in 1966, the world swooned in much the same way as it had five years earlier when Jaguar had used the same event to launch the E-type.
