Nissan's hard-hitting heavyweight GT-R is a very seductive used performance car at these prices. More than two years have passed since the first of the mighty 'R35' Nissan GT-Rs reached Britain. With a recent price rise pushing the cost of a new one to very nearly ￡70,000, used versions - which start at not much more than half that - are starting to look like very good value. The cheapest tend to be Japanese-spec cars imported here before the official model arrived, but early UK cars are barely more expensive. The difference is so small that lain Litchfield, of renowned Japanese performance tuner Litchfield Imports, reckons that a warranty-supported UK car makes more sense for most buyers.
