FEW NEW CARS deliver better value for money than mini-MPVs. These four-metre marvels represent the last word in efficient packaging; they have the cargo volume of an estate car, better passenger space than a family hatchback and added cabin flexibility, and they are available for little more than the price of a basic family runaround. So it's odd that it has taken budget brand Kia so long to launch one. Still, nine years after Honda invented the species with the 2001 Jazz, along comes the Kia Venga.
