摘要

The successful crop production requires adequate and timely soil moisture supply with judicious use throughout crop period. Rainfall, runoff, deep percolation, soil profile moisture and consumptive use are the most important components of hydrologiccycle for water budgeting. Lysimeteric studies have been reported to be most reliable to workout the consumptive use of field crops (Bhardwaj, 1983; Narain et al., 1982). Very little work has been done on consumptive use of field crops with the weighingtype lysimeter in India. Therefore, the present study was undertaken to find out consumptive use (ET) of soybean (Glycine max L. Merr.) cv. Moneta under irrigated condition in south-eastern Rajasthan.
