FINANCIAL ANALYSIS OF SHALLOW TUBEWELLS - A CASE STUDY OF NALANDA DISTRICT

摘要

An average installtion cost of shallow tubewells in Hilsa block of Nalada district of Bihar was estimated Rs- 12200. Annual working hours per tubewell were 632. Cost of irrigation per hour was worked out to be Rs. 16.25 and benefit cost ratio was more than 'one' on all size of farms. The internal rate of return was found more than 13 per cent.
